Family Weekend

By some twist of fate or handiwork on the gods, Corey didn't have to work this weekend.  We managed to have a lovely weekend together as a family.  This is something that we rarely get to do anymore so it is nice to take advantage of the chance when it comes up.  We have mostly just "hung out"...watching movies, getting small weekend chores done.  But was wonderful and much needed down time for everyone.  

Morgan and I took in a performance of The Music Man in Spring Hill.  We had several friends in it.  They all did a great job and we were happy to support them.   

Many people think that we spend a lot of time together as a family since Corey works at home and we homeschool the kids.  The truth is, we don't.  Corey works a lot of hours, often 7 days a week.  I'm busy with the kids but all 4 of us don't have much time together.  Hopefully, we can get more of these weekends.
